How the LV-135B semi-automatic vacuum can seamer works
The operator places the filled can with its lid in the vacuum chamber and starts the cycle by pressing both start buttons together. The chamber is brought to the vacuum set on the touchscreen, and a first-operation and a second-operation roller form the seam. The can does not turn: the rollers travel around it, which the specification names for fragile and liquid products because the contents are not thrown outward.
The listed vacuum reaches −0.060 MPa, set on the touchscreen with the live pressure shown as a chart. We define the vacuum target, gauge or absolute measurement basis and test conditions with your can during engineering review.
Why the speed is 4–8 cans per minute
Each can waits in the chamber while the vacuum is drawn, so a deeper vacuum means a longer cycle and the lower end of the range. At 6 cans per minute, an 8-hour shift closes 2,880 cans before breaks and changeovers. For conveyor-fed vacuum seaming, the LV-135ZFG covers 25–35 cans per minute.
Cans, chamber and change parts
The listed can range is 50–130 mm in diameter and 32–185 mm in height, set to your samples, so each can and lid format is checked and gets its own change parts. The vacuum chamber is listed in acrylic tube or stainless steel; which one is fitted is chosen in the quotation.
What to send for an LV-135B quotation
These details let us confirm the change parts, the chamber and the vacuum setting.
- Empty cans and lids of every format, or dimensioned drawings
- The product and its fill level; for fragile products or liquids, a filled sample or a short video
- The vacuum you need and how you measure it
- Target cans per minute or per shift
- Site supply and compressed air; the machine lists AC 220 V, 50 Hz, 2.0 kW and at least 0.4 MPa
Applications and materials
This configuration serves the following products and applications. Our engineers review product behavior and pack requirements with representative samples.
- Fragile products: the can does not turn during seaming, so the contents are not thrown outward
- Liquid products

We develop the equipment configuration, tooling and integration around your product, pack format and production requirements.
Included equipment
- Vacuum seaming chamber with one seaming head
- Rotary vane vacuum pump
- PLC and touchscreen with vacuum setting and live pressure display
- Two-hand start buttons
- Pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves and air preparation unit
Equipment options
- Filling machine and conveyor before the seamer, quoted with the line
Configuration items for engineering review

Machine features
Review these features with our engineering team to select the configuration for your product and packaging requirements.
- The can stays still during seaming while the rollers travel around it.
- Both start buttons must be pressed together to start a cycle.
- Vacuum pressure is set on the touchscreen, which shows the live pressure as a chart.
- Seaming rollers and chuck in Cr12 tool steel.
Working process
The sequence below outlines the packaging process. We coordinate the stations and their order with the selected equipment and line layout.
- Step 1 — The operator places the filled can with its lid in the vacuum chamber.
- Step 2 — Pressing both start buttons together starts the cycle.
- Step 3 — The chamber is brought to the vacuum set on the touchscreen.
- Step 4 — The first-operation and second-operation rollers form the seam while the can stays still.
- Step 5 — The operator removes the closed can.
Specifications and conditions
The specifications below describe this configuration with its operating conditions. We review the product, pack format, tooling and utilities for your installation.
| Parameter | Specification | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Seaming speed | 4–8 cans/min | Operating range. The cycle is longer when a deeper vacuum is needed. |
| Seaming heads | 1 | One seaming head at one station, loaded by the operator. |
| Can diameter | 50–130 mm | Operating range, set to your can samples. Each format is checked with its can and lid. |
| Can height | 32–185 mm | Operating range, set to your can samples. |
| Vacuum pressure | Down to −0.060 MPa | Attainable setting shown on the touchscreen. Define the vacuum target, gauge or absolute measurement basis and test conditions for your can during engineering review. |
| Total power | 2.0 kW | Total installed power for this configuration. |
| Power supply | AC 220 V, 50 Hz | Electrical supply for this configuration. We specify voltage, phase and frequency to match your installation in the quotation. |
| Compressed air | ≥0.4 MPa | Compressed-air requirement at the machine. Confirm the supply available at your site. |
| Machine weight | 240 kg | Machine weight; shipping weight and crate size are confirmed with the order. |
| Machine dimensions | Approx. 800 × 988 × 1655 mm | Machine length × width × height. The floor space of every quoted unit is confirmed on the layout drawing. |
| Seaming rollers | 1 first-operation + 1 second-operation | Seaming roller arrangement; rollers and chuck in Cr12 tool steel. |
| Vacuum chamber | Acrylic tube or stainless steel | Two listed options; the chamber material is chosen in the quotation. |
How this fits the Can Seaming Machines process
Can seaming machines close a filled can by rolling the lid's edge and the can's flange into a seam, by hand-loaded station or on a conveyor, and with or without vacuum or nitrogen. The can and lid, the atmosphere in the can and the line output define the scope of a configuration.
