What this family covers

The three configurations in this family dose product into preformed cups or closure cavities and seal them with foil. They cover honey dosed into cap cavities, micro-doses of matcha powder into functional bottle closures, and sauce and condiment cups.

Bottle filling appears elsewhere in the catalog as combined filling and labeling lines for soft drinks, sauces, edible oil and honey jars. Those are listed in the labeling family.

How cup and cap-cavity fill-seal works

Which stations are included varies. The catalog lists cap feeding, dosing and foil sealing for the honey configuration, with inspection, batch coding and outer packaging as items to review for the project.

Define product and container as a pair

Bring the fill range, product properties and container drawings or samples. Neck dimensions, stability and headspace affect how a filling operation can be arranged.

• Product viscosity, foaming, particulates and temperature
• Container material, opening and fill level requirements
• Closure, capping and labeling interfaces
• How cups or caps are supplied: stacked, loose or in a specific orientation

Dosing options

The honey configuration lists servo volumetric piston or peristaltic pump dosing. The sauce configuration uses servo piston dosing, and the matcha configuration uses a micro-volume auger. The right choice follows from the product's viscosity, particles and dose size.

Honey and many sauces change viscosity with temperature. State the product temperature at the filling point and whether the hopper needs heating or agitation, because both affect dose consistency and drips.

Foil sealing and closure integrity

Thermal foil sealing depends on the lidding material matching the cup or closure material, and on a clean sealing surface. Product left on the rim is a common cause of weak seals.

Separate the filler from the complete line

A filling machine proposal does not automatically include container feeding, capping or labeling. Record each unit and the responsibility for interfaces in the quotation scope.

What to send and common questions

Send cup or closure samples and drawings, the lidding material, the product specification with viscosity and temperature, the dose and the output you need. Product and container quantities for any trial are agreed before shipping.

Can the same machine fill honey and sauce? Possibly, if the dosing system and product-contact parts suit both and cleaning between products is acceptable. It should be reviewed per product.
