Choose a route, then define the configuration
This directory explains the equipment families in the LINEVO project scope. A family name is a starting point for selection; the proposed model, included equipment and performance conditions must be confirmed for your project.
Each family page lists the published catalog configurations for that route, with the source application, photographs and any catalog-listed parameters. Where a configuration shows technical data on request, figures have not been published for it and are confirmed with the team.
Find the route from the finished pack
If you already know what the finished pack looks like, it usually points to one family. If you are still deciding on the pack, compare two or three routes with the product in mind.
- A bag formed from roll film, such as a pillow, gusseted or quad-seal bag: vertical form fill seal
- A long, narrow single-serve pack: stick pack
- A small flat pack sealed on three or four sides: sachet packing
- A stand-up, zipper, flat or spouted pouch bought ready-made: premade pouch filling
- A single product, group or tray wrapped horizontally in a pillow pack: flow wrapping
- A cup, cap cavity or other container dosed and sealed: filling
- A carton or box wrapped in clear film with folded ends: cellophane overwrapping
- Products, pouches, blisters or bottles loaded into a folding carton: cartoning
- A label applied to bottles, jars, cans, vials or boxes: labeling
When one product passes through several machines
Many finished products need more than one of these families. Stick packs or sachets are counted into a carton, the carton may then be overwrapped in film, and bottles filled on one machine are labeled on another. The catalog includes configurations built around such combinations.
How to read catalog information
Configurations with an original model reference show it with the LV prefix, for example LV-400Y or LV-250B/D. Several configurations can share one model reference because they apply the same base machine to different products, dosing units, tooling or accessories. A listed configuration is therefore an application example, not a separate machine model.
Speeds, power, weights and dimensions on a product page are source catalog listings for that configuration. They depend on the product, pack size, packaging material and utilities, and are confirmed for your project in the quotation.
Vertical Form Fill Seal Machines
Form bags from roll film, dose by multihead weigher, auger or cup, and seal them vertically for snacks, coffee, frozen food, grains and powders.
