Which cosmetic packaging machine fits your pack?
Choose by the finished pack. Lotion, cream, serum, shampoo and hand sanitizer portions are formed, filled and sealed from roll film on a multi-lane sachet or stick pack machine. Lipsticks, sheet masks, skincare bottles and bar soap go into folding cartons on a cartoner. A finished perfume or cosmetic box is wrapped in clear film on an overwrapping machine, and flat lotion and shampoo bottles get their front and back labels on a labeling machine. Filling and capping bottles, jars and tubes is a separate machine that we do not list.

Sachet and stick pack machines for lotion, cream, shampoo and sanitizer
Our sachet configurations are listed for hotel amenities, travel-size toiletries and single-use samples. On a multi-lane machine every lane forms, fills, seals and cuts a pack in the same cycle from one film reel, and each lane has its own piston pump, so the fill can be trimmed lane by lane. What changes between cosmetic products is how the liquid leaves the nozzle.
Creams and lotions: dripping and stringing
A thick cream keeps moving after the pump stops, and a tail of product on the seal area gives a weak or leaking sachet. The LV-450X configuration lists a suck-back nozzle that draws the residue back at the end of each dose. The lotion stick pack configuration adds a double-walled stainless steel hopper with temperature control and slow mixing, for emulsions that must keep the same viscosity through a shift. If your cream is filled warm or separates when it stands, say so; the hopper is then part of the quotation.
Shampoo and shower gel: foaming
Shampoo can trap air when it is pumped, and foam carries product into the seal the same way a drip does, while the trapped air shortens the fill. The shampoo sachet configuration with anti-foaming dosing lists servo-controlled piston pumps and anti-foaming nozzles for four-side seal sachets of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The multi-lane shampoo sachet configuration lists anti-drip dosing and quick-release pipework for daily cleaning.
Hand sanitizer and alcohol gel: corrosion and hazardous areas
Alcohol gel is thin, it evaporates and it is flammable. The sanitizer configurations list chemical-resistant stainless steel contact parts with quick-release clamps and anti-drip suck-back valves. Electrical equipment for a hazardous area is not a standard item: on the sanitizer sachet configuration with hazardous-area review, the electrical scope is reviewed against the rules of your site. Tell us the alcohol content and whether the filling room is classified before we propose a machine.
Our multi-lane liquid sachet and stick pack series, with lane counts and pack sizes for thick and thin liquids, are compared on the liquid and sauce stick pack and sachet machines page. For a general decision order with a worksheet, read how to choose a sachet packing machine.
Cosmetic cartoning machines for lipsticks, sheet masks and skincare
A cartoner erects a folding carton, loads the product, adds a leaflet if needed and closes the ends. For cosmetics the loading step matters most, because the product is small, glossy or soft and a scratch or a crease is a reject. The lipstick, sheet mask, skincare bottle and soap configurations are described as horizontal: they push the product into the carton from the side. The perfume box cartoner above loads from the top. These configurations have their figures on request; send a carton and a product sample and the rate is confirmed for them.
Lipsticks, lip balms and small tubes
- Lipstick and cosmetic tube cartoning: pick-and-place loading with soft polymer carriers and vacuum suction cups, for lipsticks, lip balms, gloss tubes, mascara and small containers
- Lipstick cartoning line: the same loading as part of a line for lipsticks and small cosmetics
- Lipstick cartoner with coding and leaflet insertion: a station for inkjet or laser batch codes, tamper-evident seals and leaflet folding and insertion
- Cosmetic cartoner for lipsticks and premium products: mounting for batch coding and barcode or QR code checks, with rejection of incomplete units
Sheet masks, mask pouches and skincare sachets
- Sheet mask cartoning: vacuum-grip loading arms and soft-touch guides so that masks are not folded or punctured on the way into the carton
- Modular cartoner for masks and skincare products: a conveyor that links to your pouch or sachet machine, for mask pouches, serum packets, skincare sachets and kits
- Mask pouch cartoning: pouch-to-carton integration with rejection of unsealed boxes
- Premium sheet mask cartoning: another sheet mask format; the scope is confirmed from your carton
Skincare bottles, kits and soap
- Cosmetic bottle and skincare cartoning: bottle indexing with soft-touch vacuum grippers and cushioned guide rails against scratched bottles and labels, for serums, lotions and skincare kits
- Cosmetic cartoning line with leaflet insertion: a cartoner synchronized with the filling line upstream, with leaflet folders and feeders and coding
- Bar soap cartoning: moisture-resistant stainless steel guides and non-marking pushers for bath, beauty and hotel soaps
Leaflet insertion, batch coding and code checks are configuration items. The quotation states which of them are included for your carton, so name every insert and code you need at the start.
Perfume and cosmetic box overwrapping machines
An overwrapping machine wraps a closed, rectangular box in a tight film envelope with folded, heat-sealed ends: the clear film on a perfume box. The tear tape runs from its own reel onto the film before it is cut, so that it ends up around the box at a set height. The LV-BT280 / LV-BT350 series above lists boxes 40–200 mm long, 20–120 mm wide and 10–70 mm high; a box outside that range needs a separate review.
- Perfume box overwrapping and cosmetic box overwrapping: servo film feeding and cutting, with a tension-controlled tear tape applicator
- Perfume box overwrapping with quick format change: perfume cartons, essential oil boxes and fragrance gift sets, with box-size changeover reviewed against your boxes and film
- Cosmetic box overwrapping with quick format change: tear tape applicator and tool-free format adjustment for cosmetic and skincare boxes
- Overwrapping for fragrances and luxury cosmetics, perfume gift set overwrapping and perfume film wrapping with tear tape: further perfume and gift box formats
The box decides the result more than the machine does. A box that is out of square, soft or bulging gives loose folds and creases however the machine is set, so send boxes from a normal production run, the film specification and where the tear tape should sit. Box types and film choices are explained on the cellophane overwrapping machines page.
Labeling flat lotion and shampoo bottles
Flat and oval bottles carry a large label on a nearly flat panel, often front and back, and air trapped under a large label shows as bubbles or wrinkles. Our two flat bottle configurations, for lotion and cosmetic bottles and for shampoo and personal care bottles, list a multi-stage pressure roller that presses the label on gradually. Their figures are on request. Send filled bottles and labels on the roll; the automatic bottle labeling machines page explains what else to send for a labeler, such as label positions and how the bottles arrive from the capper.
How to choose a cosmetic packaging machine
Once the route is clear, three checks narrow it to one machine: does your pack fit the listed size range, does the machine reach your good output, and does the site suit it. Run them in that order, because a pack that does not fit makes the other two irrelevant.
1. Check the pack against the listed sizes
- Cream and lotion sachets: the LV-450X lists 50–160 mm long and 15–60 mm wide per lane, for fills of 1–30 ml.
- Sanitizer and liquid soap sachets: the 4-lane four-side seal configuration lists 50–160 mm long and 30–80 mm wide per lane, for fills of 1–50 ml.
- Overwrapped boxes: the LV-BT280 / LV-BT350 lists 40–200 mm long, 20–120 mm wide and 10–70 mm high.
- Cartons and labeled bottles: no size range is published for the cosmetic cartoners and labelers, so send the carton or bottle and the product, and the format is checked against them.
Fill ranges are volumes. A pump measures millilitres, so give the fill in ml, or in grams together with the density of your product.
2. Size each machine from good output
- Sachets: one cut releases one sachet from every running lane. Hypothetical example: at an assumed 30 cuts per minute on 4 lanes, the machine forms 30 × 4 = 120 sachets per minute, before rejects, film changes and cleaning. This is a calculation, not a rating for any model; the LV-450X listing gives no speed, and the rate for your cream is set in a sample test.
- Cartons after sachets: divide the sachet rate by the count per carton. In the same example, 120 sachets per minute at 10 per carton need a cartoner that closes 12 cartons per minute.
- Cartons: the sheet mask cartoner lists 25–35 per minute and the vertical perfume box cartoner 20–70 per minute. Ask for the rate on your carton and product.
- Overwrapping: the LV-BT280 / LV-BT350 lists 30–80 boxes per minute and ties the rate to box size, so ask for it on your box.
3. Plan for changeovers and cleaning
Cosmetic lines often run many shades, scents and sizes. On a sachet machine a formula change means cleaning everything that touches the product: the configurations list quick-release sanitary clamps and pipework, and the LV-450X stores recipes on its touch screen for different fills. The LV-450X frame is SUS304 stainless steel, with SUS316 contact parts as an option. Several cartoners and overwrappers list tool-free format adjustment. Tell us how many formulas and pack sizes you run, and how often you change them, so the change parts are quoted with the machine.
4. Check the site
- Power: the sheet mask and perfume box cartoners list 220 V, 50/60 Hz; the LV-BT280 / LV-BT350 lists 220 V / 380 V, 50/60 Hz at 4.5 kW. Give the voltage, phase and frequency at each machine position.
- Compressed air: the LV-450X lists 0.6–0.8 MPa at 0.35 m³/min. State what your site supplies.
- Floor and height: the sheet mask cartoner measures 1790 × 1445 × 2340 mm and the 4-lane sanitizer sachet machine 1600 × 1250 × 2100 mm, before any feeder above the hopper. Check the ceiling and the route into the room.
- Alcohol products: if the filling room is a classified area, say so at the start; it changes the electrical scope of the sachet machine.
What happens after you send your cosmetic packaging details
Send what you have through WhatsApp or the project brief checklist, and mark anything you have not decided as unknown. We reply within 24 hours. We check which route and machine fit your pack and output, which options such as a heated hopper, anti-foaming dosing, leaflet insertion, coding or tear tape belong in the scope, and whether a sample test with your product, film or cartons is worth running first. You then receive a configuration proposal, or a sample-test plan to agree before anything is shipped. If you need several machines in a row, such as sachets into cartons and then overwrapping, you can buy one machine on its own or the whole sequence.
Questions buyers ask about cosmetic packaging machines
How does a cosmetic packaging machine work?
It depends on the pack. A sachet machine pulls film from a reel, forms it into packs on several lanes, doses each lane by piston pump, then seals and cuts every lane at once. A cartoner erects a carton, pushes or places the product in and closes the flaps. An overwrapper folds film around a finished box and heat-seals the ends.
Do you supply filling and capping machines for cosmetic bottles, jars and tubes?
They are not in our listed range. Our machines fill and seal sachets and stick packs, and they carton, overwrap and label containers that are already filled. If your line also needs a bottle, jar or tube filler, tell us the container and the product, and we confirm whether it is within our supply scope.
Can one sachet machine run lotion, cream and shampoo?
The LV-450X is listed for cosmetic lotion, facial cream, gel, serum, shampoo and other viscous liquids, with a fill range of 1–30 ml set by the pump cylinder. A strongly foaming shampoo may need the anti-foaming dosing of a separate configuration. Send a sample of each product, and the changeover parts and cleaning time are stated in the quotation.
What does a cosmetics overwrapping machine do?
It wraps a closed perfume, cream or skincare box in BOPP or cellophane film with folded, heat-sealed ends, and can add a tear tape so the film opens cleanly. The LV-BT280 / LV-BT350 lists boxes 40–200 × 20–120 × 10–70 mm at 30–80 boxes per minute, depending on box size.
Can a sachet machine pack alcohol-based hand sanitizer?
Our sanitizer configurations list alcohol gel and chemical-resistant contact parts. Because alcohol is flammable, the electrical scope for a hazardous area is reviewed against your site rules rather than included by default. Tell us the alcohol content and the area classification of the filling room.
Can a lipstick cartoner add a leaflet and a batch code?
Yes, on configurations that include those stations: the modular lipstick cartoner lists leaflet folding and insertion and inkjet or laser batch coding. Name the leaflet size, the code content and its position, and the quotation states which stations are included.
Is there a small cosmetic packaging machine for a new brand?
We build automatic machines only, not manual or tabletop equipment. You do not need a whole line: each machine can be bought on its own, for example only an overwrapper for boxes you already fill and carton. Send your output, and we tell you which machine size fits it.
How much does a cosmetic packaging machine cost?
We do not publish prices, because the machine type, the lane count, the format parts for each pack size and options such as heated hoppers, anti-foaming dosing, leaflet insertion, coding and tear tape change the quotation. Send the details in the table below and we quote that configuration.
